Q & A

Sorensen‘s Cafe is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We serve breakfast from 8am to 11am. Lunch is served from 11am to 3pm. Happy Hour is from 3pm to 5pm. Dinner starts at 5pm, and is severed until 8:30pm. Reservations for dinner are strongly recommended. Cabin Service is provided for all in house guests-all meal periods.

Check in starts from 4pm and Check out is at 11am.

Unless you book a one-of-a-kind Cabin i.e., Hope Valley House or O.G Yurt. For all other cabins the team will submit your request and try their utmost to honor.

Yes! We are dog friendly property-wide; your dog must be leased while in public spaces and remember to clean up after you pet. We charge a nightly pet fee of $55 for all Cabins, Yurts, and Spartan which includes a welcome amenity, food, and water bowls that will be placed in the room to use.

We do have Wi-Fi hotspots near Sorensen’s Café and HV General Store & Café. The outdoors is meant to disconnect and explore.

As a mountain resort situated at 7000ft elevation our temperatures will always be cooler than that of the Tahoe Basin and surrounding valley. On average we will have snow on the ground from November till April. Nightly temperatures remain below freezing from October to May.

Rate does not include a $35 daily Resort Fee.

Cancellations:

Cancellations & Amendments must be made 24 hours prior to arrival, subject to forfeiture of all nights' room and tax charges. Reservations made within the cancellation time frame will be offered a small grace-period. A No Show will result in a forfeit of the deposit. You agree to be personally liable for the full amount of all charges.
