Snowshoeing from Badger Pass to Dewey Point in Yosemite is a wonderful winter activity that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding snow-covered landscape. The trail starts at Badger Pass ski area and follows a gently undulating path through snow-covered trees before reaching the open expanse of Dewey Point.
From there, you can take in panoramic views of the valley, including El Capitan, Half Dome, and the surrounding peaks. The trip is approximately 7.5 miles round-trip and takes around 4-5 hours to complete. Total elevation gain is ~700 ft. It is a moderate level snowshoeing trail that is suitable for beginners with some previous experience.
