Savor Wines and Wood-Fired Pizzas at Fortunata Winery

If you are looking for the perfect blend of rustic charm and a relaxed atmosphere, Fortunata Winery is an absolute gem. Whether you’re planning a quiet date night or a lively gathering with a group of friends, this spot hits all the right notes. You cannot leave without trying the wood-oven fire-roasted pizza, as the crust has that perfect smoky char that only a true wood fire can provide, making it a standout pairing for their wine selection. While they have a great variety, the peach wine is a must-try because it is refreshing, flavorful, and incredibly smooth. The live music really ties everything together, setting a wonderful mood that complements the perfect outdoor venue without being so loud that you can't hold a conversation. Additionally, the ample parking makes getting in and out completely stress-free unlike many other popular spots. The beautiful outdoor setting and the inviting vibe make this one of the best spots in the area to unwind. Between the delicious pizza and the scenic environment, it’s a five-star experience all around and I’ll definitely be back.

The sangria was excellent. We ordered the Capricciosa and the Montanara pizzas the Capricciosa stood out and was really good, I’d order it again. The dough on both pizzas was great. It’s a perfect environment to chill and talk, and spend a great day

Off the main road (literally Main St), driving in along the view of the pond and vines leads you to the peaceful and cozy restaurant's back patio with a mix of eclectic patio tables, benches, and gazebos where you can come alone and enjoy the nature with a glass (or bottle) of wine and fresh, wood-fired pizza or celebrate with a group of your friends - no matter what size from just 2 or 3 to dozens. Fortunata is a great place where you can enjoy an afternoon and feel like you are in your own private winery. I have been several times in the last few years and every time I'm here, I wonder (to myself or even aloud to my friends) "why don't I come here more often??" The atmosphere is serene, the food is delicious, and the wine is wonderful. It's so good that any one of these things alone would make me want to recommend Fortunata but the fact that all three are top-tier, is the reason I will continue to come back and also bring my most discerning friends with me.

A fantastic independent winery with beautiful Italian style villas for rent from 1 bedroom to 3 or more bedroom homes (one has its own swimming pool) on the property. The perfect little getaway for romance or a girls weekend. They have live music every weekend and multiple areas available to reserve for private parties. There are no waitstaff in the general seating areas, so you purchase your wine at the inside counter. They also serve brick oven pizza with a family secret crust recipe dating back generations and serve dessert pizzas as well. A lovely winery about 45 minutes from the city of Dallas.

Pizzas were awesome and we ended to order too many... well ToGo box helped. Live music and great rustic atmosphere. We will be back
