The Resort is an eco-friendly "glamping" experience. Surrounded by natural beauty and stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, Treebones is a romantic destination for those looking to engage with nature and "disconnect" from the digital world and city life. Treebones has 16 Yurts, 5 Campsites and a Human Nest. There is also a restaurant that features organic produce harvested daily from the Treebones garden. Treebones is off the grid, meaning they generate their own power, water, septic. Yurts are glorified tents fashioned after aboriginal Mongolian structures. You will hear the wind tapping on the tent walls, the patter of rain on the roof, the elephant seals barking at night on the shore. The YURTS have plush, comfortable beds with linens, cozy comforters, and colorful quilts. The ‘full ocean view yurts’ have king-sized beds, the partial ocean views offer queen beds. Lodging options have strict occupancy limits of two guests maximum. All stays include free self-serve buffet breakfast, use of pool & hot tub, 24 hour shower and restroom facilities. Two-night minimum required weekends and peak season.

Magical get away from it all! Yurts are awesome and comfortable! Dinners were very tasty, especially the Sushi experience. Make reservations! We spent 3 nights here and I don't remember the last time I felt this rejuvenated! Eyes never get tired of the beauty that surrounds Treebones Resort. We loved morning yoga and heated pool and spa. Treebones Resort is a unique and gorgeous experience. If you are traveling from afar and want to see something truly Californian, stop here!!!!
This place was SOOO GREAT! Everyone was so friendly and the location was perfect. We did part of our honeymoon trip here and I can totally see us coming back. I'd recommend eating dinner in the restaurant at least once. Melissa, our sever, was super cool and we had some tea by the fireplace that came from her garden. 👌 10/10 would recommend. Great hiking and beaches in the area too.
Incredible experience, the feeling of family and warmth that wraps around you like a blanket the moment you arrive. We happened to be there for a special community concert and the place was alive with magic! Headed to Yoga each day and stayed in the Twig Hut - not a yurt! highly recommend the outdoor space at the Twig Hut is cozy and on the north end of the property - if you have sensitive ears - the sea lions are loud at night when they are the only thing going - the night sky was fantastic. Don't miss the sushi dinner with Yancy and DJ - quite a team. Will be back as soon as I can get a reservation!
Treebones Resort is absolutely stunning. My wife and I stayed here on the 4th of July and just that single night of being completely disconnected, in nature, between the oceans and mountains restored something within our souls. We spent quite a few hours at night just looking up at the sky - once the fog diminished, we were able to see more stars than we ever have before. Not to mention, the food in the main lodge was all great, and the gift shop was full of great local goods. The only thing that made us unhappy was we didn’t get to stay longer, so we are already planning on going back ASAP!!
