Sail the South Padre Island Coast on a Southern Wave Catamaran

We recently went on a snorkeling trip on the Southern Wave and it was a highlight of our trip! I can’t say enough about the crew and their hospitality. We’d never been snorkeling before and they were helpful with the equipment and with explaining everything, which made us feel at ease. Lunch was great, too. We really enjoyed it from beginning to end. If we visit South Padre Island again, we’ll definitely book another excursion. Highly recommend!

This was our first time doing this cruise. There were about 20 people in total. It was a good size crowd, and the boat did not feel overcrowded. The dinner cruise tour was nice but not what i expected. The views were nice just different than expected. The tour does not go out into the bay. No use of sail, all motor and it follows the shoreline about 100 feet out. It was nice, just not what we expected. The food was fine; it was actually better than expected. There was plenty of grilled shrimp, chicken fajita, beef fajita, grilled catfish, and tortillas (corn and flour), cheese, salsas, and jalapenos. The jalapenos were really good and had some heat. The staff and musician were excellent. In the end it was a nice experience.

First time on a sunset dinner cruise and had the best experience! The staff and captain were friendly, the music was fabulous, the food was delicious and the views were gorgeous. Can't wait to go again!

This dinner cruise was the best! Captain Joe was great. The chef made the best food! And we could eat and drink as much as we wanted. Gisele was a very efficient server! I cant remember the name of our musician but he made it sound like a whole band. Very relaxing! Loved the entire two hours. This was the last activity we did on the island and what a way to end our vacation. We'll worth the money.

It was NOT all you can eat buffet! They kept saying how many you could get and if any left you could get seconds. That was something I didn't appreciate because on the web it stated it was an "all you can eat" and it wasn't the case. On the bright side, the boat ride and the sunset was a great experience and a beautiful view. We took great pictures and video. Thank you!
