Santa Barbara Sailing Center offers a variety of many options to spend an amazing time on the water. The first option we recommend is public 2-hour sunset tour. You will see amazing coastal views and stunning sunset magic. Another option is a private charter which comes with a captain. You can rent for a few hours or for the whole day. We recommend renting a full day charter for up to 6 people. It's an amazing value and you unlock endless adventure opportunities. Captain will take you to Santa Cruz Island. You will be able to dive into crystal clear water from the boat, snorkel and hike the island. It's an unforgettable all-day adventure that you deserve!

Their boat is always in really nice condition and the staff is friendly. The weather was perfect the water was very calm. No dolphins but a few seals spotted. But the ride was so pleasant and relaxing. It is a go to outing I do everytime I come to SB. And the DD never disappoints. See you next trip down.

We had a wonderful experience sailing as a family with Captain Cook! We have a 13-year-old daughter and twin 10-year-old boys and the Captain was so great with them. He let them explore the boat and help with the sails. He was quick with a joke and had an extensive vocabulary. The sights of the coast, rolling water and sea lions are most memorable. A beautiful new family memory.

We did the sunset cruise and it was so lovely. The trip is beautiful and peaceful. The crew was so nice yet professional. The boat is comfortable. They think of everything ... playlist, blankets, snacks and drinks all perfect. This is well worth the price.

SB Sailing was the best thing that happened on our getaway. I end up doing same day booking, perfect pricing, staff was super friendly, and the bar menu was perfect for this sail. My wife and I had the best time on this sail and thank you to the staff for giving us a smooth sail with the best view.

Fantastic experience from beginning to end, even though there were no whales out on the day we sailed! The weather was insanely windy and choppy, but the captain and crew were sensational, the music they play is perfect, and the ride was a blast. Great boat, great wine, and just a fantastic few hours out on the water. And their boathouse is super tasteful and nautical. These folks do things the right way, even giving all of us a standby pass for another ride since the whales weren't out during ours. I will definitely book another cruise with Santa Barbara Sailing Center, rain or shine!
