Movie Under the Stars at Rooftop Cinema Club Houston

While visiting Houston my son and I came across this little gem! It’s located on top of a parking garage in downtown and I think it’s such a cool idea. It’s small, only 2 screens but it was nice. There was plenty of parking and there are easily accessible restrooms. They do have concessions offering beer, wine, ciders, and other soft drinks. There is also food. You can place an order from you Adirondack chair and they will bring it to you. You wear headphones while watching the movie. My only critique would be that when we purchased the tickets online, the showtime was given but when we got there, the movie started an hour later. Maybe it was my understanding since it was the first time there. The time given could have been the “open time”.

What a great treat! We watched Back to the Future! It was completely coincidental, but winds picked up at the same time when the storm broke out during the scene - it was like a 3D effect! The canteen had a good selection of drinks, add popcorn and experience was great! I can't wait for them to play Jurassic Park!

Rooftop Cinema is stunning. I watched the Texas and Oklahoma game on Saturday and my experience was one to remember. It was nice to watch a football game on the rooftop on a beautiful, sunny day. The lounge area is colorful and spacious. I had bottomless popcorn that was fresh and delicious. The mango margarita in a can was smooth. Rooftop cinema located in the Galleria area is a great movie scene and you can bring your own food on movie nights.

This is definitely a good place for date night. Really cute atmosphere. I love the setup. Though they are popping and bagging popcorn consistently, they tend to get cold and taste stale very quickly. I love the fact you can bring your own food. We brought Potbelly and ordered drinks from the bar. I definitely recommend to experience this vibe at least once. Ample amount of parking on the 4th & 5th floor. I wish there was more than one location in Houston.

Got to watch Edward Scissorhands and it was an entirely different experience! The scenery is so nice! The staff are all very nice and pleasant! It is easy to find your way when you enter! This was my first time going and it was a great experience! I enjoyed the movie very much! The parking was also easy if you parked in the 5th floor (rooftop) it was a quick walk to the cinema! The popcorn was warm and buttery! They said you could get unlimited refills which is really nice! Overall, I would definitely recommend and I will be coming back! I can’t wait what movies they will have for Christmas time!
