Melrose Rooftop Cinema in Los Angeles

Valet is available in the building structure below the cinema and is operated by United. The valet cost is $15 and United operates a cash only facility. Valet entry is at 621 N La Cienega Blvd, West Hollywood 90069. Street parking is also available. We do encourage traveling via a ride-sharing facility should you be thinking of having a drink.

Yes indeed - it’s a theatre! Popcorn, candy and much more. In addition to the dinner & movie option in the restaurant, you can order food and drinks from the comfort of your seat via our app and it will be bought straight to you!

All dinner and a movie tickets come with allocated seats so that you do not need to rush your meal to secure your place. All General Admission tickets operate on a first come first served basis. Doors open at 7:30 pm to the cinema. Come enjoy the sunset.

Absolutely. Drinks can be ordered via our QR code before and during the movie. We also have some great wine bottle packages so you can recline, relax and not miss a moment of your movie!

Theatre access will be from 7:30pm daily. We screen all films at sunset, so the start time will vary slightly every day. For the summer period this is between 8.00pm and 8.30pm. We encourage you to come in early and have a cocktail and a meal before the film.

We have worked tirelessly with our wonderful sponsors to bring you a Rooftop Theatre experience like no other - under the summer stars looking out upon the iconic skyline of the Hollywood Hills. We have transformed the adjoining L.P. Rooftop carpark into a premiere theatre experience with a state-of-the-art Da Lite 16’ x 19’ screen and VIP plush bean-bag seating. To ensure you have the best sound, each guest will take in the experience with a set of wireless headphones so you don’t miss a single beat. In addition to pre-movie dining packages and in-movie bottle packages, the Melrose Rooftop Theatre will be serving all your cinema popcorn and candy favorites. You can choose to either print your tickets at home or download a barcode to your smartphone to be scanned at the entry of the Melrose Rooftop Theatre. Tickets will not be collected or scanned on the rooftop – please check in at the Lobby on the ground floor to get checked in. Melrose Rooftop Theatre is accessible to all guests with disabilities. Sorry, no pets permitted. Smoking is not permitted. No candles or open flames allowed.

If we’re not at capacity when the movie finishes screening, you are more than welcome to stay on with us and discuss the film over a cocktail and late night snack. On weekends, we can often be at maximum occupancy at the conclusion of films but during the week we generally have availability.

Yes, you may still enter the movie if you’re late. However, just like any theatre, we kindly ask that you be mindful of other cinema guests when arriving late and moving in and out of your seats by keeping any disruption to a minimum.

We utilize Eventbrite for all ticket purchases to the Melrose Rooftop Theatre. This year the Melrose Rooftop Theatre is an ALL VIP experience with individual bean bags for all! Our Dinner & a Movie option is $49 and includes a three course meal in E.P. Restaurant and a reserved VIP beanbag for the screening. General Admission is $25 and operate on a first come first served basis.

We’re a 21+ venue as alcohol is present so we advise that you bring your ID. If we ask you for ID don’t sweat it, we wish we looked as young as you.

La nights can be brisk sometimes, we strongly suggest bringing a blanket if you would like to snuggle in!

Unfortunately not. All food and alcohol consumed at the Melrose Rooftop Theatre must be purchased on the premises.
