Hot Air Balloon Rides in Napa Valley

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had! Truly amazing! Bob, our pilot, was the absolute best. He explained everything in a way that made us feel very safe while also being hilarious! I’m afraid of heights but there was not a moment where I felt uncomfortable or scared. The entire crew was terrific as well. I cannot say enough good things about this from start to finish!!!! Loved it!!

Chief Pilot Pete Brunner was a consciousness professional during our balloon flight at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta on October 4, 2026. It was my first ever flight. I am afraid of heights. I knew right away by the way Pete took charge with effective leadership and clear communication to his ground crew and safety review to his passengers we were in good hands. Soft spoken reassurance gave me the confidence I needed not to be afraid. Pilot Pete was perfect. I appreciated the in depth history of the relationship between champagne and ballooning. Also, the clear explanation of wind currents and traveling in the first mode of air transportation. You can tell he has a deep appreciation to the art of flying. Our landing was pillow soft...never felt the grind on landing! It takes true passion to work that hard for a magical, peaceful and quiet ride in the open air. I had the best first-time experience on a hot air balloon. The check-in process was easy, they even have snacks and coffee/water before the flight. The staff are very communicative and organized. We had Chad as our pilot and the Percy balloon and he was awesome. We were up for about 50 minutes. The best 50 minutes ever, worth every dollar. After our flight we went to Hill estate for a complimentary glass of wine and a little hot air balloon history. We stayed there for a little while and enjoyed it. The crew that helped with the landing were awesome! They work very hard. Thank you for such a fun, easy experience. I will be back again.

My friends and I booked this experience to celebrate an upcoming marriage. Our experience with Chad was wonderful. Chad was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions as well as keeping us entertained. Would absolutely do this again. We loved the wine tasting after landing. It was a perfect addition to our Napa trip. Many thanks to Chad and all of the workers.

An unforgettable bucket-list experience—Bob is the absolute best! Our hot air balloon ride with Napa Valley Aloft was easily the highlight of our trip, and we owe a massive thank you to our pilot, Bob! From the moment we took off, Bob made us feel incredibly safe, comfortable, and completely at ease. He is a fantastic pilot with a ton of knowledge about the valley, pointing out landmarks and sharing great stories while effortlessly guiding the balloon. The views of Napa at sunrise were absolutely breathtaking. If you are booking a flight, do yourself a favor and ask for Bob—he truly made this a world-class experience. Highly recommend!
