Gate 8 is the patron entrance off of Baldwin Ave. It's the best entrance for General Admission, Horsemen Entrance, and Executive Offices. General and Handicapped parking available. TRAVELING WEST ON THE 210 FREEWAY From the 210 West, exit Baldwin Ave. Turn right on Foothill, then right on Baldwin. Go south on Baldwin until you see the entrance to Gate #8 (look for a signboard). Turn left into Gate #8. Stay left at the fork to enter Santa Anita Park. TRAVELING EAST ON THE 210 FREEWAY From the 210 East, exit Baldwin Ave. Make a right on Baldwin Ave. Go south on Baldwin until you see the entrance to Gate #8 (look for large signboard). Turn left into Gate #8. Stay left at the fork to enter Santa Anita Park.

The Thoroughbred’s and patron’s safety is very important to us. Please do not make unnecessary noise or sudden movements when you are around the horses.

Don't hesitate to ask our patrons services any questions that you have about wagering. Please be aware of other patrons also trying to place wagers. After you wager, don’t forget to check your ticket.

Coolers, containers, bags, and folding chairs. All items are subject to inspection by Santa Anita Park security prior to entry. These items are only allowed in the Infield & the Apron.

Absolutely no alcoholic beverages, glass containers, balls, balloons, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, frisbees, flags, kites, tables, canopies or easy-up tents are allowed in the park. No animals other than licensed service animals.

Although there isn’t a specific dress code, patrons are expected to dress appropriately in the Club House Areas. This includes Turf Terrace, Suites at Santa Anita, the Chandelier Room, and the Eddie Logan Suite. Please check for dress requirements for different events before attending an event in these areas.

There are specially marked areas designated for wheelchairs in the Club House behind the reserved seat section J and in the Grandstand behind section M. There is handicapped parking available at both the Club House and General Gates.

Santa Anita does provide public WiFi throughout the property. Look for specially marked “WiFi Hot Spot” Signs for the best locations.

Rules & Safety

Per the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, masks must be worn indoors, regardless of your vaccination status. Masks are also required, regardless of your vaccination status, while attending an outdoor mega event – which are defined by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health as outdoor events with crowds greater than 10,000 attendees and include music or food festivals, car shows, large endurance events, marathons, parades, sporting events and concerts.
