I’ve been fishing with Sierra Drifters for several years now and they are a best-in-class guide service! I have used other guide services in the area and I must say that my experience with Sierra Drifters was extraordinary. Booking was easy. Doug called me to and patiently answered my questions. We fished on Lake Crowley with Devin Preston. Devin was very knowledgeable and fun to fish with. We learned a lot and most importantly caught about a dozen beautiful fish in a half day. The Sierra Drifters are a top notch guide service. I’ve fished with them several times and several different bodies of water. Each time better than the next. Most recently, I took my family to the upper Owens , and fished with Doug R and “Two Bug” Doug. My ten year old daughter and 12 year old son had a blast and caught their personal best rainbow trout. The guides always take great memorable photos and send them to you within 24 hours of your trip. Did a 3 trip guide trip with Doug R on in the first week of May 2022. In total we successfully landed around 30 fish. Our best fish was around 22-24 inches. Doug R and his team at Sierra Drifters knows their stuff. I can almost guarantee you they will get you on fish. Landing it is up to you.

I can't say enough about Sierra Drifters. I've gone with about 5 different guides now. Every guide is so friendly and knowledgeable. Doug is the owner and after about 8 trips we just fished with him for the first time, and you will see why all the guides are working for him. We always catch fish regardless of who guides us! Shout out to Devon, Cory, Seth, and 2 bug! But most of all we have a great time. I thought fishing was a guys thing, but going with my wife and her friends has really made me think about how much fun everyone can have on a day out fishing. This is a really family friendly group of hardcore fisherman. Every time we come up from Los Angeles, we make sure to get a day with the drifters.

There will be no additional charges for fly fishing equipment, flies, waders, or use of boats on our trip.

Fishing locations include Hot Creek, Lower Owens River, Pyramid Lake, Eagle Lake, Crowley Lake, Bridgeport Reservoir, East Walker River, Pleasant Valley Reservoir, McGee Creek, Upper Owens River, San Joaquin River, West Walker River, the Gorge, and Grant Lake depending on the season.
