big nature center, the woods in the back might be bigger than the gardens actually. but the gardens are beautiful, it’s “bloom” rn, lots of flowers. i loved the quote signs and they had a sensory garden where you were encouraged to touch and smell the plants which was cool. this place definitely needs more directional signs though, easy to get lost.

Beautiful botanical garden. I love the activities they have l. This month they have a the gardens map along directions to guide you to find the art work from LACMA they have displayed. It makes it more exiting for the kids. Last month they had the Wooden Trolls. Next month will be Bloom Spring April.

The South Coast Botanic Garden is a very special place! From their special exhibits to dog day walks - this garden is geared towards community and education about the environment and outdoors. Love this place! Consider getting the annual pass.

This is such a lovely botanical garden. Visited here on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't crowded at all. There's currently a troll exhibit by Thomas Dambo. He's an artist from Denmark. The troll exhibit gave the garden an enchanting and whimsical vibe. It's hard to believe that just 60 years prior, South Coast Botanical Garden was a landfill. There's plenty of areas to sit down and have a picnic. The walking trail is nice and pleasant with lovely flowers and greenery. Great way to spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon.

Came here for the Trolls exhibit, also first time visiting the botanic garden. We picked the day that allowed dogs to enter, and had a great time walking around the place with our dog. The rose garden was especially beautiful. We ended up upgrading our ticket to the annual membership, will revisit again and the membership also included other gardens in CA and other states.
