Experience Sweet Relaxation at the Gaige House

Top notch and relaxed. So much to love I don’t know where to start. Great rooms - we even peeked into the spectacular Japanese style zen suites overlooking the river. The heated pool and hot tub and grassy lawn leading up to the riverfront fire-pit sitting. Next to that is the enclosed Yoga and meditation room. There is a relaxing large deck on the main building overlooking the pool area with a large fire-pit and comfortable seating and tables and awning. Inside are the Breakfast area, 2 common rooms with fireplaces- one where the do wine tasting and charcuterie at 5:00 and the other has the complementary port and saki for tasting area. Plus a couple block walk into downtown Glen Ellen The staff are. Superb

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. My husband and I are delighted to have had the opportunity to celebrate our honeymoon at the Gaige House. We loved the beautiful room design and all the classy, thoughtful details throughout the entire property, down to the lighting and sound designs. The surrounding zen gardens and the constant running fountain made the experience even more relaxing. Customer service was superb. Delicious complimentary daily snacks and breakfast were a huge plus. Overall, we would recommend the Gaige House to our friends and families and would love to come back some day.

Loved staying here for a second time! We stayed for a weekend in the Ryokcan Suite by the Creek during COVID and summertime. Needless to say it was quiet and peaceful and just gorgeous. The common areas were closed back then but the pool and meditation room were open. We had it all to ourselves! We loved the little town, the bakery down the street and Glen Ellen Star. We recently stayed this past weekend for Valentine’s, but this time stayed in the Deluxe King Suite! It was gorgeous. The bathroom, the patio, the fire place too! My only two complaints were the hardwood floors (noisy) and bathroom didn’t have a fan. Other than that we loved it! Also got to try the free sake and breakfast finally :) it was lovely, thank you Gaige House! We’ll be back!

Beware this facility if you're mobility challenged. I booked the Creekside Suite based on their ADA description, to celebrate our 40th anniversary. In order to get to the suite, we had to navigate a narrow brick walkway by the side of the pool. Not easy for someone who is mobility and balance challenged. Then the walk to the main building was as far away as we could be, with steps on most walkways, and no railing to assist in getting into and out of the front entrance. The staff finally suggested using the back entrance into the breakfast room because at least those steps had a railing. Our room was nice enough, and Mason, their jack-of-all-trades, worked diligently for over an hour to get our TV functioning. However the bed was so high and soft that my husband could barely navigate getting in and out, and every time he moved, it rocked the whole bed. I ended up sleeping on the couch our second night. A loud noise also permeated the entire suite most of the time, sounding like water running or air blowing. We finally realized the suite was next to the room for pool and spa maintenace. The sound was probably equipment running to heat the pool/spas. The wine, appetizers, and cookies at happy hour were excellent, and I thought the breakfast offerings were adequate, although my husband gave the hot dishes mixed reviews. Technology-wise, I would give the facility 5 stars. They texted me after I made our reservation, with reminders leading up to our departure. When we needed anything I could text them and expect a quick response. The staff also let us know that our suite was ready and we could arrive any time, in spite of the 4 o'clock check in time.

This was a positive experience all around. The team at the Gaige is top notch. We encountered an issue with one of Mother Nature's creatures and the Gaige Team responded with kindness and generosity. We will definitely be back and will share our story of positivity. The rooms, the amenities and the Gaige Team are amazing!
